Synopsis
Giorgio Mainardi, a womanizer, plans to rid himself of his wealthy wife Norma. He happens to see a sinister figure disposing of a trunk and seizes the opportunity to make a deal in which the killer volition murder Norma. The act is done but a young couple, Luca and Laura, unwittingly steal the killer's car, complete with Norma's corpse in the boot. They head for the beach and intermission into an abased onetime house. The killer tracks them down and while Luca is out having sex with a blonde stranger, he terrorises and rapes Laura. When the young man and the blonde turn up for a threesome they are both apace despatched. After a struggle, Laura manages to fatally wound her attacker. Back in the metropolis, the police get increasingly suspicious of Giorgio Mainardi...

Luigi Cozzi crafts a gem of an anarchistic giallo, a sleazy cocktail of mean spirited violence that shows us the killer upwardly front and introduces unlikable character afterward unlikable graphic symbol. It all works though, stumbling a bit in the second deed but man, oh man... that opening setup is awesome and The Killer Must Kill Once again is easily my favorite Cozzi jam—nihilistic and nasty.

How the hell did I manage to sleep on this ane for so long? I suppose it'southward possible that I only assumed it blurred in with all the other like, oddly named giallo but that was a mistake! This isn't your typical giallo fare since we know exactly who the killer is right from the start and nonetheless I was notwithstanding pretty riveted so well done picture show.
You've got George Hilton sleazing it up nicely and Alessio Orano looking quite beautiful and and then there was this real life exchange between me and my husband while watching the motion-picture show...

The Killer Must Kill Again (which manager Luigi Cozzi originally wanted to title The Spider, presumably to align it with other animal/insect-based gialli, only in this rare example I think I prefer the retitle) is a monstrously miserable son-of-a-bowwow of a motion picture, and I say that having seen plenty gialli in particular and enough Years of Atomic number 82 movie theater in full general to know that this is a fucked-up fourth dimension and identify for cinema; the baseline misery is already through the roof. Opening with a very creepy looking killer every bit he plunks a dead woman in the passenger side of a machine, then proceeds to go into the driver's side, and then slowly grab her breast, and drive away, we know this is going to be total of some heinous antics....

Sly, slick, and wicked giallo prepare in Milan with a lot of attention to motives that more often than not revolve around either sex activity or money, just with a killer who should be unhinged but is actually as cold as ice in the mix trailing a stolen Mercedes with the body of the adult female he killed in its body. Dead woman, Mercedes Benz, two young lovers joyriding in the Mercedes, and the killer who now must impale again.. The plot never lets you forget the dirty bargain that set information technology in move. It's like an Italian giallo in which "Fargo" meets "Psycho".

Unlike most giallo, there'south no mystery surrounding the killer's identity. This is more of a straightforward thriller as the killer deals with complications that arise and Hilton tries to get abroad with information technology while nether police investigation. Information technology's quick-paced, sleazy and brutal. I've enjoyed all the Cozzi movies I've seen but I wish he did more in this style.

The Killer Must Kill Once more turns the Giallo genre on its head by showing the killer correct from the outset; significant that the film has to derive information technology's thrills from the plot rather than from revealing the mystery of the killer. Argento protégé Luigi Cozzi crafts a fine thriller; sort of a sleazy varient on the set up from Punch M for Murder. Every grapheme in the film is completely immoral, leaving the audience to have to sympathise with the least bad character in every exchange. The plotting takes a bit of a downturn at times; the final deed is the least thrilling but the film remains interesting for the most function. It's a beautiful film to look at and anything with Christina Galbo in it is certain to exist easy on the heart! It'south maybe non quite a classic but The Killer Must Impale Once again is a must come across for Giallo fanatics.

It besides shows the lengths that women will take to A) dice and B) have sex or get raped (l/50 shot), or C) testify they can't bulldoze (100%, even dead women are put behind the wheel and pushed into a canal).

Finally gave upwards on tracking down a reasonably priced copy of the DVD anywhere and found it available on Amazon to stream (in an English dub in poor quality, only only $1.99).
While it features genre stalwart George Hilton as all the same some other smarmy, scheming womanizer, that'south where the Giallo conventions pretty much end. We know who the killer is from the beginning scene and he'southward absolutely riveting equally played by Antoine Saint-John.

This ostensible giallo from "Starcrash" manager Luigi Cozzi is far from terrible; what it has going for it is a moody score past "Seven Beauties" composer Nando De Luca, and Antoine Saint-John as the epitome of 'guy you would non want to encounter in a night alley' (the man has a helluva bone structure). Unfortunately, the film's less interesting B plot, about a young couple who makes the poor life choice of stealing the killer's car, takes over the centre of the film, and in a genre based on visual flair Cozzi fails to distinguish himself behind the camera.
